out of Shady Spring is another 2025 DL that we’ve liked for a while who we got to see live at the PRZ WV Combine earlier this year and is continuing to play well through the first 4 weeks of his senior year.
The interior big man is a true space eater for the Tigers and is a strong athlete who can take on multiple blockers. Hill can swallow up the middle of the opposing offensive line and shut down A-gap runs consistently. He’s a very good run-stopping defensive tackle who can play zero-tech and gets good push on 1-on-1 blocks. Hill also has quality athleticism for his size and is more than just a space filler. He should get some D2 looks this season as an under-the-radar defensive lineman.

is in a similar situation as more of a run-stuffing interior DL but still did some good things in 1-on-1s in a pass-rush environment. Hill has a big frame and is a strong defensive tackle prospect who was able to win some 1-on-1 reps from his power alone. Hill can take up a lot of space in the middle of the line and is better suited as a run-stopper which is difficult to show in a camp setting without true contact and a full line.
He was still able to flash during the event and backed up why we recently ranked him as a Top 20 DL in the class.

. He’ll be competing in a deep and talented big-men group and is currently one of the highest-ranked defensive linemen committed to attending the combine. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Hill because of that and expect him to back up our high claims about him being a Top 20 DL in the 2025 class. The biggest question we have for Hill is which side of the trenches he performs better at? He sees time on both sides of the line for the Tigers and could eventually swap to the offensive side of the ball in our rankings depending on what we see at the combine and how his senior season unfolds. Seeing how well he moves in person will also be very beneficial for us moving forward, but Hill showed on his junior highlight tape that he can be in the conversation with some of the top 2025 linemen in the state.
