Another Shady Spring big man who is having a stock-rising season is 2025 OL Jon Cantley Jon Cantley 6'0" | 240 lbs | DL Shady Spring | 2025 State WV . He’s continuing the momentum he built during the summer at various camps including our own PRZ WV Combine which saw him earn his first D2 offer from Concord back in July.
Cantley may not have the prototypical size as some of the other offensive linemen on this list, but he’s making up for it with his play on the field. He has the frame to continue filling out over time once he’s in a college system and could be an under-the-radar gem. Even as a shorter tackle, Cantley has looked good in pass pro with a strong base and quality feet to stymie pass rushers. He’s also a strong run blocker with a powerful upper body and can pull from his right tackle spot.

We considered 2025 Shady Spring lineman Jon Cantley Jon Cantley 6'0" | 240 lbs | DL Shady Spring | 2025 State WV a defensive line prospect heading into the Combine, but he looked the part along the offensive line at the event. We knew he had the versatility to be considered for either side of the line, and he was able to answer the question we had for him for which side he looks best at. Size will be the one factor that hurts him, but Cantley was able to show he can handle bigger-bodied defensive lineman and was able to win some reps during 1-on-1s against them.
He should be a prospect that smaller colleges look hard at and likely caught the attention of some of the college coaches in attendance who were coaching him up.

Shady Spring big man Jon Cantley Jon Cantley 6'0" | 240 lbs | DL Shady Spring | 2025 State WV has been a steady player for the Tigers and a three-year starter on the offensive line. We have him on our Watch List as a defensive lineman for now but could flip him over to the offensive side of the ball based on his combine performance. Size has been the main culprit as to why he hasn’t made our rankings yet, but a great performance at the camp in front of us in person could quickly change how we view him. That’s another reason why we like him as a DL prospect and is someone who could likely bulk up and play along the interior of the defensive line at the next level. Cantley has the physicality for each position already down with quality athleticism to pair with it which gives him a good foundation to build on with added size. We’ll be looking for him to answer which side of the line he fits best at, and will his physicality from game days show up at the combine?
