One of the things that will help that is the return of 2024 standout Nathan Gray Nathan Gray 5'11" | LB Checotah | 2024 OK in the middle of the defense at linebacker. Gray led the team in tackles last season with nearly 100 tackles on the season. He would also get into the backfield quite a bit with 13 tackles for loss. The Wildcats graduate their second and third leading tacklers so we anticipate Gray’s production to go up this season, especially early on. The Wildcats are experienced for the most part on defense but they do have to replace some key defensive linemen from last year. While those guys get worked in, we think Gray will have a strong start to the season.
