An Outstater from southern Minnesota that I watched his tape just last week before camp that caught my attention at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp on Tuesday, was Randolph’s Nate Sheridian He was a member of Mark Johnson’s OL All-Camp Team already, but as you have heard all the time, when muliple PRZ scouts catch one athletes attention, it’s really good sign that they had a great day at camp which is surely the case with Nate. He was one that generated much faster foot speed than you would expect and finished in the top-tier out of the offensive line group as Nate really overwhelmed DLs with his hands on the handful of reps I was able to watch in Eau Claire. He more than doubled his offers picking up three at camp from UWEC, Augsburg, and Augustana (SD) from last Tuesday.

up close and personal at the UWEC Big Man OL/DL Mega Camp. Measuring in at 6’3, 290 and rocking an eye-popping 6’9.5″ wingspan, Sheridan, especially for a rising senior small school OT, was impressively laterally agile, as well as balanced, and he did a great job of staying square, staying engaged, and staying in good body positions throughout a rep, both in run and pass blocking exercises. Additionally, he was as strong as you’d hope for in a kid of that size, with a shutdown base that was eating power rushes for lunch against a very talented DL and DE group, and as he settled in and got more comfortable, Sheridan really came alive. The Randolph Rocket ran a few kids out of the club post-contact, making them throw in the towel like it was an amateur boxing match, and his nimbleness and physicality was also helping him shut down speed rushes and twitch, either at the snap or at the top of the arc. Maybe the best OT in attendance and a stock rising performance from the MN 2027 OL class.

live. Dating back to now Northern Iowa RS junior LB Tyson Coorman, it has been near impossible to find Rockets on the camp trail, and without a trip to Randolph under a belt (55 minuets from MPLS, 10 minutes from Cannon Falls, 12 minutes from Northfield) – a miss that is on us – we’ve had to rely only on Hudl tape to scout Randolph’s recent trend of fun, explosive, tough, multi-sport stacked rosters from the past handful of recruiting cycles. Well, continue the streak snap, as Sheridan showed up and showed out at the third annual UWEC Big Man OL/DL Mega Camp. In a deep group of OL prospects, I believe Sheridan anointed himself as the best OL in attendance. There were some frontrunners for OL MVP who were making a strong case during early Offset Base drills, but Sheridan really pulled himself away from his peers and competition during pass pro reps.
Sheridan was laterally agile, could gain depth and width in his pass set and was beating speedy DEs upfield and protecting that outside shoulder. He also showed off a monster base that eating up power rushers like it was breakfast cereal, and he embarrassed a couple of DL physically with big, aggressive, bouncer-esque resemblance. Speaking of bouncers, Sheridan ran a couple of DL out of the proverbial club, running his feet and really announcing himself physically post-initial contact. Stock rising performance for Sheridan at the 2026 UWEC Big Man OL/DL Mega Camp.

A massive prospect hailing from Randolph, Sheridan is a two-sport athlete (Football/Baseball) who also boasts an impressive 3.8 GPA. He is immediately noticeable on tape due to his size. He’s the blindside protector for the Rockets, and he does an excellent job in that role. I love his physicality. Once Sheridan locks onto defensive linemen, he can run them downfield with ease. He moves well for his size, too. Sheridan has fast feet that he consistently pumps, which work hand-in-hand with his strength to displace any defender. His first step off the LOS is quicker than I thought it would be, and his aggressiveness with defenders is very encouraging. If he gets underneath pads, he can send defenders flying, and while I would like to see some lower pad level, what he brings to the table as an athlete should make him a very desirable prospect. He also recorded 16 total tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 FF last season as a defensive tackle.
