For being a small Group 1 school in a talent-rich New Jersey, Glassboro has to have the most talent per student body capita. Smith looks destined to be next in that group as a Defensive End. Overwhelms with length and is developing a pass rush arsenal. Haven’t seen him play since May and I’m very excited to see what he brings to the table during the 2024 season.

Last year saw 2027 prospects Xavier Sabb Xavier Sabb 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Glassboro | 2027 State NJ and Tasheem Butler Tasheem Butler 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Glassboro | 2027 State NJ win MVPs at a PRZ Next Middle School event; This past weekend 2028 prospects CJ Lewis CJ Lewis 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Glassboro | 2028 NJ and Aveyon Warfield Aveyon Warfield 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Glassboro | 2028 NJ take him the honors. Not to be outdone, 2029 prospect Nadir Smith Nadir Smith 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Glassboro (Youth Program) | 2029 NJ also opened some eyes. There’s room for improvement in terms of overall athleticism, fluidity and quickness–but you can’t teach the size and length that the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder currently has in just the seventh grade. He has all the makings of an excellent Defensive End, once the speed and explosion catches up to his size.
