Champlin Park is home to not one but two breakout 2028 DBs with D1 projection, tag, and athletic potential. 6’2 SAF Moussa DukulyMoussaDukuly

Champlin Park | 2028 MNis yet another installment of Minnesota’s high-end trend of basketball/football hybrids with elite athleticism and multi-sport utility out the wazoo. Dukuly, an excellent hooper who averaged nearly 20 points a game for Champlin Park in 2025-26, is part of one of the state’s best returning backcourts going into the 2026-27 season and the section’s preseason player of the year, according to PrepHoopsMN. Talk about an exciting resume, Dukuly’s Weeks 1-5 highlights display a long, rangy SAF prospect with noticeable start/stop ability and short-area quickness, long arms, coordination, and the ability to pluck the rock out of the air with effortless zeal.
Dukuly demonstrates noticeable body control, indicative of his high-level basketball background, and is a FS with the speed to create impressive range as a MOF defender. He’s a ballhawk with instincts, has the athleticism to capitalize on miss-throws, but also has that natural ball-hawking ability to be at the right place at the right time and always around the football. The junior is shifty, twitchy, and tough with the ball-hand after an INT, and displays impressive, noticeably athletic footwork, speed, ball skills and processing ability. Plus, he gets downhill, comes up and fills, and closes and tackles with quickness and physicality.
6’2, 175 lbs, and posted 1 INT in the Week 7 win over Lakeville North, 36-7. Dark horse, rising D1-caliber DB prospect in MN’s 2028 class.
