About Mitch

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong and physical would describe my playing style.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I enjoy competition and rising to a challenge. You will always find me prepared. Whether it be taking honors classes, working out in the weight room, watching game film, playing on the field or competing on a wrestling mat, I will try to prepare myself and those around me to compete at the highest level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently a Vice President of the ABC (Advice Beyond the Classroom) club, where we learn the importance of interpersonal skills and public speaking. Member of Big Brother's program. Special Olympics volunteer.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was recently voted to be Vice President of the ABC club, where we work on inter-personal and public speaking skills. I am working fulfilling my requirements to be inducted into the National Honor Society. My football coaches have placed me on the leadership team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. I was Honorable Mention All-Conference selection this season.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a two year varsity starter on the offensive line, I face challenges every time I step on the field against rival Chicago Catholic League teams. My most recent significant challenge was playing in the 7A state championship game. The game was postponed due to weather and it was difficult to make adjustments to our normal work week schedule and also play against a high caliber team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I have an interest in math, business, engineering and construction.
