About Ayden

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my explosiveness and versatility. I can play both linebacker and edge, rush the passer, play the run, and make plays in space. I play fast and physical and bring a high motor every snap.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on becoming a more complete linebacker, especially my coverage, reads, and technique in space. I’m also continuing to improve my strength and overall football IQ.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a competitive program with a strong culture, great coaching, and an opportunity to develop on and off the field. I want to compete at the highest level possible and be part of a program that will push me to reach my full potential.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I’m competitive, hardworking, and always trying to improve. I take school seriously and I’m big on being a good teammate and leader. I’m coachable and I’m willing to put in the work to reach my goals.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m interested in studying sports medicine. I want a career where I can stay around sports while helping athletes recover, stay healthy, and perform at their best.

Smith is an athletic edge rusher that is impactful slicing through the line making TFLs.  Holds up at the point of attack when the ball is run at him.  Sets the edge and makes the tackle.  Little bit undersized, but once he adds some more strength he will be a good player at the next level.
