Two out-of-state prospects put on a show at this Hamburg event. I still am unsure as to the connection, yet the East Rochester kids made sure we all knew their names after this camp.

. showed off awesome balance in and out of his cuts, legitimate wideout hands, this combination had Sneed Jr. winning pretty much each rep against solid LB competition. Burst out of his cuts and exceptional leverage use forced all of the attention to fall on his shoulders. Again, the young man is ranked as a back yet his route running abilities, the subtleties, and nuanced displayed showed me he could be a factor in the passing game. As a non-PA/NE prospect, I’m admittedly unaware of his tape, yet taking a look at his ranking, I now understand why this camp looked like a breeze.

, an apparent teammate of Sneed Jr.’s also drew eyes, mainly because of his stride at wideout and DB. Loved that he came out and performed at two positions, especially considering the lack of DBs in general. Caviness was plagued with a ton of uncatchable balls when at wideout, yet I could see how well he separated with DBs, especially when attacking vertically. Caviness showed out when moved to DB. 6’2, but can sink his hips and shadow quicker wideouts. Hand-eye coordination made it so that the young man could play the ball and force PBUs. Very impressed, he’s a worthy mention as a camp top performer.

The strong Miles Caviness is a true red zone threat at the WR position. This first team AGR player has an amazing ability to make toe tapping sideline catches, even to get his team 6 points. He has been playing the game of football since age 7, idealizing the great Adrian Peterson before making the switch to WR. This is a WR that time after time was able to make incredible catches in traffic or over a defensive back. He has a pure sense for the end zone and has the ability to get behind the defense for huge amounts of yardage. Clean ability to change his speeds to get deep down the field on 9 and post routes. Very much utilized on jet sweeps and set in motions to draw defenders his way. Has an outstanding ability to grant himself space between him and the opposing DB in coverage. On tape, Caviness put on display not only his natural talent, but the endless amount of pursuit and effort that you want to see. At the DB spot, he would finish the play even if a WR would make a catch against him. What I mean by finishing is he would attack/go after the football, try to force a fumble, and would make clean tackles in space. This truly is a football player that will make any team better. For the upcoming season, Caviness talked about how he wants to gain over 1,000 receiving yards, be awarded a scholarship, and his last goal is he wants to make his family proud. Very talented player that I am excited to see in action this fall.Twitter: @1MilesCavinessInstagram: @milescaviness06 Hudl Profile: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11470610/Miles-Caviness/about
