They are very talented, hardworking, and embody the spirit of their teams. Check out these outstanding high school football players ready to make that big leap and even rebound this coming season.
The strong Miles Caviness is a true red zone threat at the WR position. This first team AGR player has an amazing ability to make toe tapping sideline catches, even to get his team 6 points. He has been playing the game of football since age 7, idealizing the great Adrian Peterson before making the switch to WR. This is a WR that time after time was able to make incredible catches in traffic or over a defensive back. He has a pure sense for the end zone and has the ability to get behind the defense for huge amounts of yardage. Clean ability to change his speeds to get deep down the field on 9 and post routes. Very much utilized on jet sweeps and set in motions to draw defenders his way. Has an outstanding ability to grant himself space between him and the opposing DB in coverage. On tape, Caviness put on display not only his natural talent, but the endless amount of pursuit and effort that you want to see. At the DB spot, he would finish the play even if a WR would make a catch against him. What I mean by finishing is he would attack/go after the football, try to force a fumble, and would make clean tackles in space. This truly is a football player that will make any team better. For the upcoming season, Caviness talked about how he wants to gain over 1,000 receiving yards, be awarded a scholarship, and his last goal is he wants to make his family proud. Very talented player that I am excited to see in action this fall.Twitter: @1MilesCavinessInstagram: @milescaviness06 Hudl Profile: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11470610/Miles-Caviness/about

The speedy WR in Juelz Russell from University Prep Rochester truly is a tough football player. A tough player to not only catch the ball in traffic but to break tackles on a consistent bias. He stands in at 5’11” and weighs 170-pounds, but runs with a lot of force with the ball in his hands. In addition to WR, he can play CB and Kicker as well.
This is a WR that has a very clean ability to get in and out of breaks at a quick rate because of how fluid Russell’s hips are. When running routes he has that sudden quick burst to change directions in a flash. Defenders were always caught staying on their toes against him.
Russell is a player that makes plays deep down the field and puts points on the board because of his large YAC ability. Plenty of times he was able to break defenders down in space with a simple cut which then allowed him to gain extra yardage. This was a WR that was able to work all areas of the field coming out of the slot, and is a true deep threat on the outside.
Russell has amazing body control to toe tap near the sidelines when making tremendous catches. Plenty of times, he was used on jet sweeps, in the backfield on wheel routes, or on simple out routes when getting set in motion into the backfield. This simply is a dangerous player with the ball in his hands that has goals of winning player of the year and making AGR.

Nick Warda Nick Warda 6’2″ | 250 lbs | OL Irondequoit | 2024 State NY is a very quick RT off the snap of the ball for Irondequoit High School. This is a 6’2”, 250-pound offensive linemen that has a lot of explosiveness off the line of scrimmage. The ability to withstand powerful bull rushes was a huge positive in his pass protection. The ability to be an anchor on the right side of the line to give his QB time to step up and deliver down the field was there. Controlling inside pass rushers was also an added pulse for him. Defenders would go to an inside rip move and the ability to control it was astounding. The best work for Warda in the run game was on stretches and HB dives that were sent to his side of the line. The ability to keep his legs moving and to finish a block until the whistle was blown stood out tremendously. One play that stood out a lot was when he drove a defender out of bounds to finish a block. The effort and motor is on full display 24/7.Warda’s pure aggressiveness and will to make a block was outstanding. Was never drawing away from making a block and wants to win every block he attempts. He came off a sophomore year playing only 3 games due to injuries and then tore his ACL after the 5th game this past season. However, Warda spoke about how he has obstacles set in front of him this upcoming season and is going to overcome them to better himself not only as a player, but as a human as well. This is a very strong football player that can play at both of the OG spots and can play OT for Pittsford Mendon High School. James Davis James Davis 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Pittsford | 2024 State NY weighs in at 280-pounds and stands in at 6’2”. Right away, the ability to pancake defenders into the field of play stands out. The ability to be active and take on defenders would happen a lot throughout his film.Davis does an outstanding job of using his leverage to drive interior defensive players to the ground. That ability to drive defenders out of the way happened plenty of times on runs drawn up through the B gaps. Being able to take that interior defensive linemen to the side and make a hole for the ball carrier was very impressive. In addition, the ability to get off the LOS at a quick rate and create a block was also a huge standout in his game. This is a very athletic player that can get out and pull at a high rate. There were plenty of times on film where Davis was able to pull to the opposite A and B gaps to make a block. In pass protection, the ability to hold his ground and use his leverage to win was consistent. Plenty of times blitzes were brought, he was able to hold his ground, and pick up the blitz to give the QB time to make a throw. The big goal for this outstanding offensive linemen in 2023 is to give up 0 sacks. Twitter: @jamesdavis2024Instagram: @james_davis67Hudl Profile: http://www.hudl.com/profile/16656006
Monster of an offensive lineman that is very versatile in his ability to play at OT, OG, and C. He is very physical at the point of attack and knows how to use his pure size to his advantage. Nate Cole weighs in at an even 300-pounds and stands at 6’5”. This is a true offensive lineman that any team and QB would be lucky to have blocking for them. At OT, Cole’s’ pure athleticism to slide and pick up multiple defenders on a play really stood out. He knows how to fire up his hands and use his powerful punches to his advantage to get defenders off balanced. Being able to protect the corner and give his QB time to find a target is one of his biggest strengths. The ability to be able to combat the outside rushers by knocking/slapping their hands down was so critical in the success of his pass protection. When lined up at the OG spots, Cole is a powerful run blocker. Many times he was able to easily drive 3 and 2 technique DT’s into the turf. Again, his athleticism showed off when he was able to make pull blocks all the way past the D-gaps. Cole’s pure mulling ability in both the passing and running game truly proves that he is a force on the offensive line for Pittsford High School. For this upcoming season, he has goals of not allowing 1 sack and under 5 pressures. Those are very tough goals, but there is no doubt he has the talent to do it.
