The Puyallup Vikings’ young squad has quickly emerged as perhaps the best team in the Pacific Northwest. Loaded with playmakers on the perimeter and athletic bulk in the inside, Puyallup’s entire team deserves attention, as it has outscored opponents 285-16 in its last five contests. It’s a group loaded with young prospects that is sure to have college coaches roaming the hallways in the next few years.

But Pulalasi has been the heart and soul of the Vikings’ defense, which has allowed 10 points or fewer in 5 of their 8 wins and just 71 points total this season (8.8 per game). The breakout junior has accumulated 60 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss and 2 sacks so far.
