In limited game action, Sauer had 6 total tackles (1 solo, 5 assisted), 0.5 sack, and 2 INT.  He measures in at 5’10 140-pounds. He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and jumping. Sauer has good read and reaction time. What stands out to me is his ball tracking and catching. He’s a ball hawk in the making, and picks the ball with ease. Good man and zone coverage with good tackling. I’m looking forward to seeing Sauer play more next season.
