Balch had himself a nice game against Pueblo County. The 5’9 155-pound kicker went 5 for 280 yards on kickoffs, 3/3 on PAT, and 1/1 on 37 yard field goal. Balch has very good quickness with his kicks. Roosevelt has a quick kicking operation. Balch has very good leg strength, exploding into the ball and launching it downfield. Very good leg control and placement. Very good accuracy. This senior has been a consistent kicker for Roosevelt all season long, and he will continue going into next game.

Balch is one of the most consistent and accurate kickers in the 2026 class. He connected on 28 of 30 PATs (93%) and was perfect on field goals, going 5 for 5 with a long of 40 yards. His reliability in pressure situations makes him a high value prospect. On kickoffs, he recorded 10 touchbacks on 46 attempts, showing promise in the kickoff game as well. With continued improvement in hang time and placement, Balch has the tools to become a go to kicker at the next level. I expect him to gain serious recruiting traction this season.

Another dual-sport athlete, Balch dips his toes in baseball while he’s a dominant kicker for Roosevelt. The 5’9 155-pound junior had 46 kickoffs for 2124 yards average 46.2 yards per kick with 10 touchbacks. He had 43 kicking points. 28/30 on PAT, and 5/5 on field goals with his longest being 40. Balch uses his very good kick power and kick accuracy to stay consistent for his team. He’s a clutch kicker, making important crucial game winning kicks. His poise impresses me, and I’m excited to see how he builds upon his impressive junior season.
