He’ll match receivers breaking out into their route and use his closing quickness to create pass breakups or intercept the ball. Good ball tracking and catching. Sauer uses his good mental processing to watch the QB and get the interception. Good back pedal. Sauer has very good ball tracking and good catching. He’ll rip the ball out of the air to make the INT. He’s shown good coverage skills in both man and zone. I’m intrigued to see how he continues developing moving forward.

What stands out to me is his ball tracking and catching. He’s a ball hawk in the making, and picks the ball with ease. Good man and zone coverage with good tackling.
