out of Lake Mills. I believe has the talent to play either side of the ball at the next level. Whether that be OLB or TE. In this pass catching article we are going to focus on that threat on offense where he brought home 1st Team All Conference as a receiver. The big target is an unfair balance of size, strength, and speed out wide. He has 10’+ broad jump explosiveness, 4.6 40 speed to stretch the field, and the body control needed to make the subtle adjustments to get hands on the ball downfield. Watching his highlights at receiver gives a glimpse of what he could be at TE. Someone who can stretch the field, or create yards in the short passing game. We see him use his size in the redzone. Plus his strength while taking on OTs while playing defense also gives a glimpse into what he could be as an inline run blocker at TE. The ceiling is very high for Max.

Max has a strong argument for being the best athlete that was in attendance at the PRZ WI Showcase. The athlete could play LB or TE at the next level, and gave us a glimpse of his abilities at LB during the showcase. Max has the frame to be a D1 prospect at 6’4″ 232 lbs. At that prototypical size Max dominated the combine. He hit a 4.62 40, 4.53 shuttle, 10’1″ broad jump, and 7.65 L Drill.
The numbers were just half the story with Max. The big man demonstrated exceptional balance and body control when we got to drills and 1 on 1 battles. Max was able to accelerate quickly when he had to turn and run deep. He closed quickly and cut off escape routes in the one on one rushing drills. The big man was also a monster against RBs in blitzing/pass protection battles. Max looked the part of a D1 LB.

out of Lake Mills. The 6’5″ 230 lbs athlete has dominated as an edge defender and WR. That 230 lbs is up from the 215 he played at this past fall. I am looking forward to seeing how smooth Max is in space, how well he changes direction, and also how well he tests. He has a 4.61 40 time in his bio. If he gets close to that at 230 lbs on Sunday you can guarantee you will see him earn a spot in our top performers articles. I can’t wait to see Max compete.

. We project Max as a OLB at this time, but it is well worth noting that the big man is such a talented and natural athlete that he has been able to become a 1st Team All Conference WR. At OLB we see Max win with speed and power. His length gives him a huge advantage as well. We see him make first contact as he swipes hands away and either bursts into the backfield or makes a lateral move before closing. The building blocks are there for an even more impactful 2024 season. Very excited to see what our #30 overall prospect does this next year.
