PRZMN was stoked to finally see Waconia’s Max Greenwell Max Greenwell 6'6" | 235 lbs | DL Waconia | 2027 State MN in the flesh, not to mention padded up, on Tuesday night in Dinkytown. A now-verified 6’6, 230+ with an impressive wingspan, Greenwell was an easy First-off-the-Bus, First Team All-Eye Test selection, and he possesses a ridiculous amount of room to fill in as well. I thought his play was on par as well, as Greenwell had one of the more impressive individual reps of the camp, going speed to power with so much force that he put a budding 2028 D1 OT flat on his butt in dominating fashion. Greenwell was also bendy, flashed a powerful & effective bull rush, and earned some wins on the board drill during competition as well. UMD and Northern State have offered Greenwell so far.

Another riser in the defensive line group that left a great impression in the live eval at the Minnesota RTB camp on Tuesday night was Waconia’s Max Greenwell Max Greenwell 6'6" | 235 lbs | DL Waconia | 2027 State MN . The 6’5 233 pounder with massive hands, and ran a sound pro agility at that size which should catch more college coaches attention after last night. He easily passed the eye-test with his overall length and in the early part of camp showed off to be highly fluid for that size. Later in reps, Max showed off his development, as I felt his get off hands had more speed than what you might have saw during the season along with a quicker power generation. Max holds just one offer from Duluth thus far, and surely will get more attention upcoming I am sure.

The Waconia Wildcats have a high-ceiling, high-potential 2027 in DE Max Greenwell Max Greenwell 6'6" | 235 lbs | DL Waconia | 2027 State MN , who posted 33 tackles, 2 TFLs, 2 sacks, 1 INT, and 1 FF in 2025 and reports a 370 lb. squat, 275 lb. bench, and 245 lb. clean. To sweeten the pot, Greenwell plays hockey for Waconia, but on the gridiron, Greenwell, as a 5T, displays some bend off the edge of the LOS and to an offensive tackle’s outside shoulder. He demonstrates good motor and does a good job of not getting tied up around the LOS and can shed multiple blocking attempts in a single rep. He’s raw, and doesn’t have a lot of tape, but boy does he have the measureables and traits to really develop into a monster at the next level, hence the Top 100 ranking.
