Griffin Mittelsteadt Griffin Mittelsteadt 6'5" | 195 lbs | TE/WR Waconia | 2028 MN makes for the second long, rangy, matchup nightmare fresh to the PRZMN 2028 radar. A reported 6’6, 195 lb. WR/TE hybrid out of Waconia, Mittelsteadt is also a good pitcher, outfielder, first baseman with the Wildcats but is really putting some good football film out there as a junior, especially given the size and athletic profile. Versus Northfield, Mittelsteadt proved he can climb to the second level smoothly and effectively to find work as a blocker. The junior can get out to the edge as a blocker with pace and hustle and reach off-ball ‘backers effectively, and he also displays speed and ball skills, not to mention length, as a pass catcher. The burst as a route runner caught LBs and DBs off guard. Versus Chanhassen, Mittelsteadt made a fully extended snag with a DB bearing down on him for what was an attempted big hit. Held his feet through contact and stayed upright while attempting to fight for extra yardage. He demonstrated himself as a long, physical, sticky blocker too. He can open up seams and gaps both in the box, around the LOS or at the second or third level of the field. Solid in pass pro too. Was throwing out a long, physical, effective punch on DL and LBs alike. Lots of tools and traits to be excited about in this breakout 2028 pass catcher.
