Mason Triplin consistently wins at the point of attack with his ability to shed blocks on first contact and his quick, explosive first three steps. That initial burst allows him to close rapidly on quarterbacks and ball carriers, making him a disruptive presence in the backfield.

Against the run, Triplin is a reliable stopper who plays with good instincts and physicality. He works through traffic, disengages from blockers, and tracks down ball carriers to limit gains and keep offenses behind the chains. His combination of quickness, strength, and effort has already attracted college attention, and he currently holds offers from Morgan State and Monmouth University.
