Defending 5A champs Spring Lake Park have some serious talent to replace from their undefeated 2025 roster, but judging from some of the specimens that showed up and showed out at the PRZMN Spring Showcase, the Panthers will be doing fine the next couple seasons. A sophomore DL/edge rusher manufactured and built for speedy/explosive pressure off the edge, Bergstrom had some serious juice as a pass rusher and overall competitor, with a fiery demeanor and competitive edge that earned him some solid recognition at the PRZMN Spring Showcase. The Blaine native can load his hips and fly off the snap like he was shot out a cannon, and he had some of the heaviest hands in attendance, with lead in his initial punch that made an audible impact on OL throughout 1v1s. Could also run the hoop and win the leverage battle as a 5T against long, rangy OTs. Should be a bug season for Bergstrom this coming fall!

has time to grow into size as a flexible DE/OLB option, but there was a lot to like from his performance on Saturday. Bergstrom impressed me with his quick speed off the line, proving to be a swift outside rusher while also showing solid inside moves and his speed allows him to shed off blockers quickly and out-leverage them to get into the pocket. Bergstrom saw some valuable reps on Saturday and proved himself well winning several reps against bigger and more experienced blockers in the 1-on-1 competitions. Bergstrom is poised for a breakout season for the Panthers in 2026.
