Kaden Konkler Kaden Konkler 6'3" | 200 lbs | ATH/WR Spring Lake Park | 2028 State MN is a dark horse and sleeper in the 2028 D1 recruiting conversation. The Spring Lake Park Panthers junior, who PRZMN has been familiar with since he was a young buck on the state’s 7v7 trail, has really grown into his frame and is a verified 6’2+, 200 with green testing numbers backing him from last summer’s camp trail. Michigan State sent a game-day invite; North Dakota has sent significant physical mail; Gopher game-day invite on Sep 23; virtual junior day invite from Cornell in early September; and Konkler visited Iowa State on Sep 28. There’s certainly some momentum building behind Konkler’s recruiting efforts, and the film is impressive and memorable, especially watching him patrol the MOF and break on the ball with pace and physicality at his size.

In Week 4 vs. Cambridge-Isanti, Konkler proved him to be a big-bodied safety and MOF defender looks frighteningly rangy when he breaks and closes on the ball. He can fead, recognize, and close with pace, and is a thumper at the contact point. Also was a redzone asset who scored two TDs thanks to the speed, length, ball skills. Konkler zoomed past three closing DBs right after catching a dig to show off some impressive burst on a near-TD, and flashed speed, range, and a high motor from the defensive secondary

vs. Robbinsdale Cooper:

really impressive TD catch that showed game-breaking burst and top-end speed. Plucked a dig or post right out of the air and in between DBs then rocketed past another couple pursers to show off can’t-miss speed in a 6’3 pass catcher

vs. Irondale:

mean, nasty, effective, physical blocker

eye-catching TD catch and carry that broke three tackle attempts as he easily slipped and stepped through tackle attempts while creating tough angles for the tacklers and maintaining his balance and body control impressively

Lots of boxes are checked when it comes to a developing Minnesota D1 prospect. Look for FCS schools from the Missouri Valley to start kicking the recruiting tires here first.

Was burning some of the fastest 2027 DBs in attendance during 1v1s and showed why he was WR1 on the 2025 Class 5A state champions. Natural route runner with a height/weight/length advantage over most DBs he comes across. And he knows how to use it.

Staying at the WR position, Kaden Konkler Kaden Konkler 6'3" | 200 lbs | ATH/WR Spring Lake Park | 2028 State MN made the most of his brief playing time during his freshman year at St. Louis Park, and so far this offseason, he’s built quite a strong case for his future with the team. At our combine series event in April, Konkler posted solid testing numbers, including a 4.41 shuttle time, a 9′ broad jump, and was measured with a 73 inch wingspan. Konkler has speed to win on vertical routes, as well as for racking up big yardage after the catch on short plays. I was impressed with Konkler’s physicality, particularly with his run-blocking, as he was able ton consistently drive defenders back until they were on the ground. Konkler could see a much bigger role on Spring Lake Park’s offense next season.
