He plays receiver and safety and is a threat whenever the ball is in the air in his area. He high points the ball well and has the ability to win 50/50 catches. He also does a good job using tempo in his route running to create separation. Defensively at safety, Turpin shows he can do it all, he reads the quarterback quickly in zone, can stick with his man in man coverage, and comes downhill to make tackles for short gains in the run game. Turpin currently holds 10+ offers, including Ivy League programs like Harvard University and Yale University, along with offers from Michigan State University and James Madison University.
