Now at Cooper High School, 5’11, 210 lb. linebacker Mannie Allen Mannie Allen 5'10" | 210 lbs | LB Robbinsdale Cooper | 2025 State MN was a noticeable presence at the Robbinsdale Cooper vs. Robbinsdale Armstrong game I attended earlier this year, and his midseason tape opens with a massive hit that nearly decleats a helpless RB on an attempted screen. This kid is a thumper, and loves sticking his face into ball carriers and would-be blockers alike. QBs, RBs, and OL have all felt his presence this year, and he’s been effective as a blitzer, showing off burst, closing speed, and of course, aggressiveness at the contact point. Allen has one of the hardest-hitting midseason tapes in Minnesota, and his play speed, recognition and instincts, and physicality will suit him well at the next level.

At a compact and powerfully built 5’10, 210 lbs., Minneapolis North sophomore LB Mannie Allen can make an offense suffer if he’s left unblocked and is successful at patrolling and making plays around the pocket and occasionally downfield at the edge of the defense. He does a good job of using his hands to get off blocks and laid some big hits on QBs that impacted opponents passes and possible big gains. The Polar’s are always a must-stop for prospective college coaches and continue to reload with big-time talent. He comes in at #63 overall after our recent update of the 2025 rankings went live.
