. I got one of the earliest looks on Erick to start session 2 and even from the jump, I could tell this young man was going to be in our top-tier of wide receivers by the end of the showcase, and he surely was. Erick caught anything and everything that came his way, and repped very elusive change of direction that even the college coaches in attention catch their eyes on, as Erick got his first college football offer this week from a local Division 3 school right up the road. He played miles above his measurables and was very poised going up against the bigger cornerbacks in the second session Plymouth. 4.85 40-yard dash, 6.92 L-drill and an explosive 8’10 in the broad jump shows me that this young man is not done showing out as one that I hope to see at at a bunch of camps this summer.

Robbinsdale Cooper always is home to primetime competitors, and the Hawks‘ 2027 class is looking like a fun one! An under-the-radar WR in the 2027 class,

– like many Cooper playmakers before him – has that dog in him. Though far from the biggest, the two-way dynamo put on a show as a WR at the PRZMN Spring Showcase, starting off testing by popping off a 4.85 40, 4.51 shuttle, and 8’10 broad, and he really started to settle in and compete during 1v1s. DBs could barely get a a hand on him throughout 1v1s, and Larkins earned wins against the top DBs in attendance, getting better as the afternoon wore on. Jittery at the LOS in his releases, Larkins could cut on a dime, was explosive at the top of the route and cooly accelerates out of his breaks and cuts, and was a consistent deep threat during competition. He tracks and plays the deep ball well and owns strong hands and could finish contested catches through tight coverage. Big-time game in this 2027s skillset. What a day for Larkins in Plymouth!

, who shined brilliantly as one of the most dynamic pass-catchers throughout the event. Playing primarily in the slot, Larkins was outstanding during the Indy and 1-on-1 sessions, using his speed and sharp footwork to create separation and thrive with routes tackling all three levels of the secondary, while also utilizing that speed as an outside receiver that flashed his downhill running strength that makes him a clear vertical threat. While his primary position for the Hawks is on the secondary, Larkins has undoubtedly proved himself as a multi-faceted threat, and he is slated to become one of their top targets in their passing game as he enters his senior season.

One of the biggest surprises to me was talented junior WR/DB

. He’s a smooth route runner who scored the first TD of the game off of a modified sluggo route, which saw him beat 2 separate defenders in coverage for a wide open TD in the end zone. Cooper has a talented receiving core, and I think we’ll see Larkins emerge as a consistent offensive threat throughout the season.

Larkins drew attention in one-on-one drills. In vertical-pass stations, he showcased controlled leaping ability and aggression in the air against taller competitors. Versus coverage, his speed and quickness allowed him to separate off the line and break tight coverage consistently. Larkins’ instincts, high-energy motor, and versatility make him a strong candidate for slot or special-teams roles. With the ball, he’s a change-of-direction threat who can stop-and-go any moment.
