Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Washington is another uncommitted guy who moves smoothly and can whip the ball down the field.
He has an excellent frame and it doesn’t take much effort for him to throw the ball deep.

Washington absolutely exploded onto the scene in MD this season, finishing his season with 2,979 passing yards, averaging 248 yards per game, and 29 touchdowns. To cap it off he led Archbishop Spalding to a MIAA Championship. Malik is a very accurate and decisive young gun slinger; he puts the ball in the best spot possible for his receivers to make big plays. He continuously shows off his arm strength with his deep ball but also shows that he can put touch on the ball to drop it right into the breadbasket. Malik currently holds just a handful of offers including JMU, Maryland, and Virginia Tech. After a season like this one expect his recruitment to take a leap over the next few weeks.
