Joining the above-mentioned Kylan Baker Kylan Baker 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB State AL at our Prep Redzone Next Rising Prospect Camp in Gerogia this spring is 6-foot-3, 195-pound Major Moorer Major Moorer 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH AL . Moorer is the son of a coach and has flashed at both Defensive Line and Wide Receiver/Tight End during middle school. This past season he excelled at both positions. On Defensive Line he uses his length, speed and quickness to his advantage, quickly reading and reacting to the offensive backfield. On offense he does a nice job using his quickness and size to his advantage and as a deep threat for his quarterback. Given his dad being a line coach, I see him settling in on the Defensive Line as a future big time Defensive End prospect.  We’re excited to see him in Georgia

Standing 6-foot-3 and 190-pounds, the future look bright for 2027 Athlete, Major Moorer Major Moorer 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH AL . After wrapping up a pre-school career at Homewood Middle School that saw a ton of growth (figuratively and literally), Moorer will get set to enter high school with a ton of promise. Up through this season I thought he’d be a shoo-in as a Defensive End given his frame and length. However, this year he showed a lot of promise as a Wide Receiver/Tight End that could really stretch the field vertically and win battles for balls in the air with his height. Ultimately I still think he ends up as somewhere along the Defensive front, after all, his father Carey is an Offensive Line coach at McAdory High School. Moorer has the gift of size, the benefit of a coach as a parent and a ton of potential/upside. Stay tuned here.

At 6-foot-3 and 190-pounds, the question isn’t whether or not Major Moorer Major Moorer 6'3" | 190 lbs | ATH AL has next-level ability, it’s at what position his ability will shine at. The son of a high school coach, Moorer had a very impressive season on both sides of the ball for Homewood Middle School. Looks like he could be a budding TE/DE star, in my opinion.
