Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Major upward movement for Kump this rankings update landing just outside the top 50 overall and is the 14th ranked WR. He’s a high level route runner that is both technical and instinctual in how he separates from coverage. He’s creative at the top of his routes and sets up defenders well to establish positional leverage. Accelerates off the line and has the long speed to stretch the field vertically. Aggressive at the catch point he’s strong with his hands and shows the ability to come down with contested receptions frequently. Flipped his commitment from Colorado School of Mines to Nevada where he signed on early signing day. Also had offers from Western New Mexico and Eastern Washington.

Kump is an advanced route runner coming out of the slot at 5’10” 180 lbs. He does a great job creating separation by setting up his routes with good stems and accelerating out of his breaks. Sells hard at the top of his route with good head nods to get defenders off platform. Good all around game speed to force DB’s to transition and run after the catch, runs a 10.9 100m. Great spatial awareness and ball skills at the catch point. Attacks the ball with his hands and is strong catching the ball in traffic with defenders closing in. In four games this season, Kump has racked up almost 300 yards and three touchdowns on just 16 receptions. Committed to Colorado School of Mines prior to the season over offers from Western New Mexico and Eastern Washington.

Mack Kump Mack Kump 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Sunnyslope | 2025 State AZ runs his routes with strategy and precision and it usually leaves him with tons of separation. He has the speed to stretch the field vertically, but he has such sharp cuts that he becomes nearly unstoppable from the slot. In the quick game, no linebackers have the speed to keep up with him and his change of direction. On the flip side, Kump has a good understanding of how to attack zone defenses and the Sunnyslope offense puts him in some really advantageous positions to beat them. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he’s always a threat to score. Showing that agility again as he effortlessly slips through tackles. He finished the year with two interceptions on the defensive end and showed that he has a knack for finding the ball, even when he’s not on offense. Kump will have to adjust to a new quarterback taking snaps for Sunnyslope, bit with his football IQ, I doubt that will be an issue at all.
