Mikita checks into our rankings as a top three linebacker and just inside the top fifteen overall and does tons of damage from the backfield as well. He stars on both sides of the ball for Eagle but should fit nicely on defense in college and is very athletic and twitchy, excels at making plays outside the tackles in space and has closing speed and excellent open field tackling abilities while packing a punch at the point of attack. He flows well to the ball, takes proper angles in space and can quickly knife into the backfield or come up and set the edge. He is a plus athlete with speed, range and change of direction/hip fluidity in coverage and will fit nicely at the second level in college.
