is a player who looks primed for a breakout season both for the Monarchs and on the recruiting trail. Luke projects well as an outside receiver who can use his bigger frame at 6’3″ and 190 pounds to bully DBs at the catch point and fight off pressing corners. He has a solid get-off at the LOS and can accelerate well through the stem of his route. Luke did a great job finding soft spots in the coverage and sitting in them to give his QB an open target.

has received quite the recruiting attention this offseason, as he’s spoken with several programs ranging from FBS to D2. Luke earned his first offer from Wayne State at the start of February after a successful junior day visit. He has also been in communication with Wyoming, South Dakota State, North Dakota, Fresno State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota, St. Thomas, and has visited North Dakota State. Bennett ended his junior season with 29 receptions for 293 yards and three touchdowns, along with 30 tackles, two TFLs, a sack, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery on defense.

This is one of my “buy stock now” prospects who I think is set to erupt in 2025. The Monarch’s junior got his feet wet last season with eight receptions for 110 yards and a receiving touchdown, and now he enters the year as the presumed top receiving option. Bennett’s 6’3″, 195-pound frame provides the Monarch offense a big-bodied receiver who can use his size and catch radius to win jump balls and make catches outside his frame. Luke is an effective possession receiver who is great at working the short and intermediate areas of the field to keep the chains moving. He also showed some nice burst when turning upfield to tack on extra yards after the catch. There are still some green areas to Luke’s game, but with an offseason to further his development, I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do this fall.

With a fantastic combination of size and speed, Bennett highlighted by his 5-second 40-yard dash, 4.63 shuttle, and 7.20 L-Drill, becomes even quicker on the move. His skillful use of hands to create separation, coupled with explosive bursts out of cuts, made him a tough cover in 1-on-1s. Strength, speed, and refined technique round out his full skillset, making him a talent that simply can’t be ignored.
