Norris 7v7 Tournament | Papillion-La Vista Standouts

There were nine different teams in attendance and 10 teams in total (Norris V and JV) that filled up the stadium with high-flying action from start to finish. Next up are the Papillion-La Vista Monarchs, who ended the day as the tournament runner-up and came very close to winning it all. It's clear RJ has been working on his craft this offseason, as he looked smoother through his throwing motion and seemed sharper in his decision-making with the ball. He has solid arm strength that can hit all three levels of the field and flashed good timing on his passes. Luke projects well as an outside receiver who can use his bigger frame at 6'3" and 190 pounds to bully DBs at the catch point and fight off pressing corners. He has a solid get-off at the LOS and can accelerate well through the stem of his route. His vision and football IQ allow him to read the defense and QBs' eyes before sharply breaking on the ball. Jack displayed solid range, from being able to get downhill in a hurry to having the depth to defend deep passes or move sideline-to-sideline; he was usually in a good spot to make a play. He's willing to get physical with receivers by getting his hands up to bat away passes. Jack played with quick feet and loose hips, which help him stick to his matchup in coverage. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2237542' first='Tyler' last='Pamaran'] was a walking highlight-reel as he was constantly torching defenses deep on Friday. Although he's not the biggest, Tyler is very strong with a sturdy, compact frame that holds up well against physical defenders. He also combines that strength with explosive speed, making him a threat to hit a home run on any given play... he had at least 4 TDs over 40 yards on Friday, from what I saw. When flying downfield, I was impressed by Tyler's ability to flip his head and find the ball in the air, with the control to adjust and get under it for the catch.
