will be a great veteran player to have returning to the Casteel offensive line. The 6’5 260 lb center was consistent and efficient with his blocks up front. He is dangerous when he gets a full head of steam, having magnificent mobility and great pad level when he lays into his blocks. He has high mental alertness in pass protection, staying sound to his area and not being susceptible to twist or stunt action by the defensive front. Voss has picked up a few offers from the spring as he heads into his senior season. He hopes to bring in a few more during the season as he prepares for his bright future.

has some nice size on the interior of Casteel’s offensive line. With impressive reach, he has no trouble keeping defenders at arm’s length. When Voss works to the second level he shows some impressive lateral quickness to stay in front of the quicker linebackers. The size that Voss possesses can cause him to occasionally lose the leverage battle, but he has the strength to make up for it in most situations. Against more powerful rushers, he may have to focus on keeping a lower center of gravity. Voss’ speed is really impressive for someone who stands at 6’5” and is a massive piece of a talented Casteel offensive line.
