Most of our Dakotas subscribers are well aware of this name by now, but there is more to talk about Lucas from his performance at the Winona State prospect camp. He showed excellent mechanics and was one of the most polished ball-throwers overall at the Winona State prospect camp. He also passed the eye test in a camp setting with the fluidity he showed in his footwork. The biggest skill set Lucas can grow on as we get into fall camp is the alignment of the throws he makes on intermediate routes with his feet. Lucas picked up on this quick at the Winona State prospect camp, but as we look into fall, I want to see how he utilizes his coaching from Winona with this growing skillset.
