Lucas was a nice change of pace at the running back position. He was by far Walled Lake Western’s best option when running inside the tackles. Taking inside carries, Lucas was able to use his size to barrel through tackles much more effectively than their other options.
He wasn’t perfect though- Lucas could really improve upon his contact balance in particular.
Considering his size, Lucas could 100% earn a college football opportunity as a linebacker. Great height, obvious work done in the weight room, and a high ceiling moving forward if he chooses to play college football.
