How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I'm playing I am always thinking about my next aggressive move to best support my team. I'm always thinking of how I can learn from each play to do better next time.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I consider myself a focused and humble athlete who takes pride in seeing the team succeed together, and I enjoy helping build the confidence in my teammates. I see the unique strengths in each of them, and do what I can to help them be successful as well. I trust in my faith to guide me in all I do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In my free time, I help my family with our fishing camp in Canada. It has instilled in me a sense of hard work, service to others, and appreciation for nature.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my freshman year I was named a team captain. In introducing myself to new students in the pre-season weight room, I convinced them to give football a try, and helped them learn the ropes. I also credit my current abilities to my experience in wrestling last year, and several years dedicated to getting in shape and being consistent with growing stronger.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve evolved a lot since I started at 6 years old. I went through a time with low self confidence, not healthy, an eating disorder and dropped weight in too short of a time. I started eating healthier (not just too restrictive), started working out regularly, and my confidence and skills grew together. I also overcame speech & learning disabilities from elementary to middle school.

What type of college are you looking for?

Currently learning about the process, my interests, and the opportunities available for the future. Eventually I hope to find a school that can support my journey and be the space to grow into my best self.
