Lawson Ford Lawson Ford 6'6" | 200 lbs | TE Collierville | 2030 TN is an exciting young tight end prospect with a well-rounded skillset and the potential to be a complete player at the position.

He already has very good size at 6-foot-5 and likely around 220 pounds, but does not sacrifice the movement skills to be a large receiving target as well.

His size gives him strong upside as a blocker as he refines his technique and inevitably adds more mass to his frame while working with the coaching and strength staff at the high school level. He has had plenty of opportunities to show his blocking potential already and has been the first to the punch.

As a receiver, he can run routes from an in-line, H-back or receiver alignment and moves very well for someone his size at his age.

He runs the common tight end routes right now and is able to work himself open consistently in these situations. He has also shown flashes of finding the blind spots when attacking zone defenses.

He is a good athlete that also shines in baseball during the offseason.

EXPECTED ROLE IN 2026: He will sit behind some seniors to develop for a year before having a prime opportunity to start in the 2027 season.
