He has a solid frame for his age and it helps him deliver the ball with good velocity as he attacks most levels of the field right now. When working in the intermediate, he delivers quick strikes to his targets that allows them to catch and run in stride.

He is the son of former Memphis player and current Collierville head football coach Joe Rocconi. The mental edge has translated to the field as he throws with good anticipation and has a baseline understanding of when and how to hold second level defenders to maintain passing windows.

While not a premier athlete, he has enough athleticism to be a reliable scrambler and even played safety at the middle school level.
