that emerged as the top option as a running back. As a junior, Johnson would be second on the team in rushing and he also finished the year with 14 touchdowns on the season. This year, Johnson returns but he has even more firepower joining him in the backfield. So we won’t be surprised if the Roughers get creative with how they use Johnson on the offensive side of the ball. He’s a terrific athlete and proved last season that he can produce at a high level. So whether it’s at running back or somewhere else, we think he’ll be an impact player again.

has become a breakout star for the Muskogee offense this season. With Johnson in the backfield, the Roughers have yet another weapon to break a game open. Johnson had just six touchdowns on the ground coming into this season. But this season, Johnson has 14 touchdowns on the ground. He has multiple games this season with more than one rushing touchdown. And while Ficklin is leading the team in every rushing category, don’t overlook Johnson and others being able to impact the game when it comes to running the ball.
