transferred from Kell to Greene County this offseason and has since taken over QB1 duties for GCHS. Garretson has flashed some tangible traits in the past, but has been rather raw. While still growing, it appears his game has taken a leap forward now that he has valuable experience under his belt. Arm strength should be considered a strength at this point, especially for his size. He often fires the ball with a lower trajectory over safeties and can also quickly rocket the ball to the flat. He plays more within the pocket, but he is a good enough athlete to escape pressure and make off-platform throws. When he does get outside the pocket, he plays with solid composure and does a good job of planting his feet and pointing his hip toward his target. Decision-making and consistency are the next steps in his growth, but regardless, there is enough juice in his arm to generate explosive plays downfield.
