Each year, prospects show out at our camp and start to garner some much-deserved attention on the recruiting trail as a result. Here, we highlight a couple of prospects that I believe could raise their stock with a solid showing.
Landon Garretson Landon Garretson 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Kell | 2026 State GA – 2026 – QB – Kell
As of now, Garretson is waiting in the shadows behind Bryce Clavon Bryce Clavon 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Kell | 2024 State GA at Kell, and it looks like he could be the heir following this 2023 season. Garretson showed some flashes as a freshman. He has a decent arm, can throw the ball with timing, and has a solid frame. He has the foundation required to be a productive QB. Now, it’s time for him to take the next step in his development and capitalize on his traits. If Garretson can perform this weekend against some good competition, it will go a long way toward raising his stock as a prospect.
Hunter Campbell – 2025 – QB – Centennial
Campbell is an intriguing QB prospect with high upside. He has a tall 6’3 180 build and showcases the ability to whip the ball all around the field on his tape. It is very clear that Campbell has the arm talent to perform at a high level. If he can hone in on the finer parts of his game, he has the ability to break onto the scene as a prospect and maybe even generate some recruiting buzz. He has a prime opportunity to showcase some areas of his game this weekend that we might not be able to see on his film, at least yet.
Wyatt Tash – 2025 – TE – Cherokee
Camps allow prospects to show some skills that might not be super prevalent on their film. Tash has the perfect opportunity to do exactly that. On film, he shows the ability to block and catch the ball in the 1st and second levels. While he does those two things well, he will be able to showcase his ability to stretch the defense vertically and make plays in 1 v 1’s this weekend. I have heard good things about Tash and his playstyle, so I will definitely keep track of him throughout the event.
Jacob Smith – 2024 – DL – Denmark
Despite tallying 8 sacks last fall, Smith is still a sleeper on the recruiting trail waiting for his recruitment to take shape. Smith is a pure edge rusher, showing some big-time explosiveness and speed off the edge. His ability to slip past blockers and pursue the QB is uncanny and should translate to the next level. Smith has the speed and the tools. Now, he just needs the exposure. A good performance this weekend against some stout offensive linemen should do the trick.
Brandon Perkins – 2025 – OL – Stephenson
Perkins is by far the biggest prospect signed up for our event, weighing in at 6’5 335. He clearly has an immense amount of strength and power. Now, he gets to show how he handles a situation that requires a little more finesse and touch. His size as a youngster is incredibly impressive. If he can adapt his game while maintaining that frame, he has some very clear college potential. Perkins will be one to watch during the event. After all, he is hard to miss.
