Starting MLB for the 5A All-State team. Holloway had a stellar year for Denver East. Solid size for a LB at 5’10 190 pounds but this kid can play. In his senior year, he had 177 tackles (120 solo, 57 assisted), 28 TFL, 2 sacks, 9 pass deflections, 3 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles. Holloway was all over the field. If the ball carrier was getting tackled, Holloway was contributing in some way shape or form. Demonstrates very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed and change of direction. Reminds me of a heat seeking missile. He’s shown good mental processing throughout his play. He’ll identify the gaps (playing RB helps with gap knowledge) and rush the correct ones. Holloway will also follow the QB’s eyes and lead him to making a play. He’s a strong tackler and wraps them up like a bear. He’s a hard hitter causing the ball carrier to stop in their tracks. Holloway is an excellent run stopper. Demonstrates good competitive toughness by playing after the whistle and not giving up on plays. Holloway is also used as a punt return and showcases his very good athleticism.

has left his mark on the football field over the course of his high school career and will no doubt find success at the college level. Although slightly undersized at 5’11”, Holloway is still a one-man wrecking crew who isn’t afraid of no one. With elite lateral quickness and his balanced ability to stop the run while providing over the top coverage against the pass, the Denver East star has also remarkably tallied 23.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks next to his name this fall. With his first DI offer coming earlier this month, the future is more than bright for this young man!

Ranked as the sixth-ranked linebacker in the Class of 2024 within Colorado, it is hard to argue against the fact that Holloway can flat out play football. Blessed with a rock-solid frame, the 215-pound Denver East linebacker leads the entire Centennial State with 72 tackles and has also made an effort to wreak havoc in the backfield with a total of 13 tackles for a loss already. Not only is the sky the limit for Holloway, but his stellar play was also rewarded with a visit to Boulder last weekend to experience the Rocky Mountain Showdown first-hand.

Holloway was playing with a lot of energy and was all over the place. He was able to fill up the stat sheet getting a sack to go with 14 total tackles and 3 TFL. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon at times and was getting to the ball carrier in a hurry. He was able to use his vision and burst through his gap into the backfield to make plays near the line of scrimmage. He will be another player to watch as he will have a favorable matchup to bring that momentum into the next game.
