One of the best pure defensive backs Pennsylvania has to offer, an uncommitted top 20 prospect put on a benchmark performance for Garfield Gators. An interchangeable safety who could easy play corner had he wanted to do so. A fantastic vocal leader who works well with anyone aligned to his side of the field in two-high sets. A cerebral threat who can fish out what an offense has planned, fast enough to vocalize this to his defense and act accordingly. Robinson was the sole reason for several sacks registered, as his quick deciphering of concepts forced QBs to second-guess throwing into windows on his side of the field.
The event didn’t go the way Garfield wanted, yet they still provided plenty of bright spots,

is a difference-maker at defensive back for Westinghouse. What I love about his film is his ability to play as a deep safety and cornerback. He has good coverage skills at both positions and does an excellent job breaking on the ball thrown in his direction. He also is a playmaker who creates interceptions and causes fumbles. The other big part of Robinson’s game is his ability to tackle. He is an excellent tackler in the open field. Robinson is a top 10 prospect in our rankings a well-deserved recognition. He projects as a Division 1 defensive back.

On March 18th Robinson received an offer from Houston. On the 5th of this month, he picked up a big-time offer from Ohio State University. Robinson has been on a hot streak since the summer started. Last week, he continued his run of FBS offers by receiving opportunities from Colorado, USC, and Temple. There’s no surprise as to why the great Deion Sanders would want to offer KyShawn Robinson. He has FBS footwork, breaking ability, ball skills, and isn’t afraid to hit somebody. I was very impressed watching Kyshawn ballhawk any pass thrown his way at the Top 150 camp. Robinson has fielded Power Five offers from PSU, Florida, Nebraska, WVU, Syracuse, Texas A&M, and Pitt, to name a few.

I got a chance to watch KyShawn up close, and man, he didn’t disappoint. He has D1 foot speed, pad level, and technique across the board. He pedals at a nice, controlled pace and breaks quickly. He’s skilled at press man coverage and properly contests anything in his area. Robinson and Daron Barksdale showed versatility, playing the two high safeties during 7-on-7s, and performed well.
