DePaepe added a D-II offer from Jamestown this month. PRZ NV’s top senior LB has had a productive offseason picking up four offers including an Ivy League offer from Cornell and was a recent top performer at the North Dakota Flagship Camp this month. He’s totaled 365 tackles and 36 TFLs over the past two seasons. DePaepe’s recruiting stock is on the rise coming down the stretch of the offseason.

Depaepe’s recruiting stock picked up major steam this month with his first set of offers coming in from Cornell, Carroll College, and Central Methodist University. PRZ NV’s top-ranked LB in the 2026 class had been flying under the radar coming into this offseason after finishing among the state’s leading tacklers in each of the past two seasons. Strong, physical LB that excels at stopping the run around the LOS. Look for DePaepe to add some more D-I offers to his list ahead of his senior season.
After a great phone call with @conner14hayes , I’m truly humbled to receive an offer to play Division 1 football at Cornell University @BigRed_Football ! Thank you for the opportunity @JaredBackus1 @DanSwanstrom @Sean_Reeder ! @thompsonsctg @ttherzog @BrandonHuffman… pic.twitter.com/fCw5VUW6sY

DePaepe took visits to Nevada, UC Davis and Southern Utah in April. The top LB prospect in PRZ NV’s 2026 rankings is one of the top unoffered defenders in his class and has finished among the state’s top tacklers in each of the past two seasons. DePaepe is a sure-fire offer now candidate for FCS programs.

The Spanish Springs standout was one of the top defenders in attendance two weeks ago, and is coming off a impressive Junior season campaign for the Nevada school and is a no brainer next level guy. He is a tremendous inside linebacker that is extremely active in the box and a true downhill thumper. He shows quick play recognition, triggers into the backfield quickly and can either bend around or go through blockers getting to the second level and can violently get off blocks. DePaepe has great pursuit backside, is a strong open field tackler that brings a big thump at the POA and explodes through contact. He should be drawing plenty of FCS+ interest through the Spring, and is one of Northern Nevada’s best.

DePaepe took his third gameday visit in the recent months to Sacramento St. this past weekend. The #1 junior LB in the state has also taken recents visits to Nevada and Cal in September. DePaepe is still watiting on his first offer but looks a likely candidate to start adding them soon- he leads all NV tacklers with 133 total and 17 TFLs.

DePaepe took gameday visits to Nevada and Cal in September. The 6’1″/205 ILB is putting together another strong season with 92 total tackles and 14 TFLs after leading the state in tackles (173) as a sophomore. He’s a downhill defender in the run game that’s at his best filling holes between the OTs and creating negative plays in the backfield. DePaepe’s stock is on the rise as one of the top unoffered 2026 defenders in the state halfway through his junior season.

DePaepe has generated some interest on the D-I recruiting scene since leading the state in tackles with 173 total as a sophomore. He’s a physical run defender between the tackles that shows some range and lateral speed on the perimeter. He’s a savvy navigator through traffic that lets his eyes and instincts guide him to the ball and can use his athleticism to shed and come off blocks. DePaepe- who’s performed well at offseason camps and recently took an unofficial visit to Nevada- could be on the verge of his first offer with another productive season in the fall.

lit up Nevada’s defensive statistics this fall. Be on the lookout for his recruitment to heat up in the new year. Kyler shows flashes of next level closing speed and good tackling ability pursuing ball carriers in space. Good instincts get displayed when Kyler quickly navigates through traffic in the run box despite play action or misdirection in the backfield. Kyler’s length and strength give him a chance to develop into a true inside linebacker prospect before his high school career is over.

Depaepe leads the state in tackles with 136 total and another 10 TFLs. He’s a plus-side athlete from his ILB spot with size (6’1”/190), speed, and power as a tackler. He plays fast and physical with compact burst in the box and sideline-to-sideline range out wide. Depaepe’s an under-the-radar LB prospect at the moment, whose stock should start to rise after his strong sophomore season. #2-Spanish Springs will host the winner of #3-Reed and #6-Damonte Ranch on 11/3.
