The middle linebacker for the Warriors had an excellent sophomore season finishing 3rd in the GWOC in tackles with 92. Minor possesses the frame and the physicality to be a presence in the middle. He’s strong in his read-and-react. He’s good at getting through the wash to make plays between the tackles. He also shows the ability to shoot the gap on blitzes to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. He’s a sound tackler and when he hits ball carriers they go backwards. As he continues to get bigger and stronger he’s only going to become more violent and more of a force to deal with. In coverage Minor is comfortable in space and has the athleticism to roam and be disruptive. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this talented defender.
