Coming in at our #8 spot in the 2024 offensive line class is Point Pleasant’s Kolton Weaver Kolton Weaver 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Point Pleasant | 2024 State WV . The 6’4 290 tackle is quiet on Twitter so it’s tough to say where his recruitment is right now but he’s a D2 prospect at the very least. Weaver was the Class AA-A 285-pound state wrestling champion as a junior and will look to repeat that honor this season. That high-level wrestling background greatly benefits him on the football field and Weaver is a very physical player. He earned First Team All-State honors from PRZ WV on our Class AA team and has been a mainstay on the Big Blacks’ offensive line for years. Whether Weaver wrestles or plays football in college remains to be seen but his play on the gridiron warranted a Top 10 ranking in the 2024 offensive line class.

We are really high on Point Pleasant offensive lineman Kolton Weaver Kolton Weaver 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Point Pleasant | 2024 State WV and he came in as the 47th overall player and #8 ranked OL in our 2024 class rankings update. Weaver was a Class AA All-State Honorable Mention performer in 2022 as a junior and should be one of the state’s top offensive lineman this season. The 6’4 290 Weaver is the right tackle for the Big Blacks and pairs very nicely next to our #1 ranked tight end Josh Chapman on the right side of the Point Pleasant line. Weaver is a mauler and a very strong athlete that can push people around consistently. His pass blocking abilities are a little bit of an unknown right now due to their offensive scheme but Weaver is dominant in run blocking. He also starts on the defensive line and from watching him on that side of the ball Weaver moves well and quick off the ball. Weaver should be one of the most sought-after offensive linemen in the 2024 class this season.
