is a good defensive tackle for Central Columbia. He does a good job of firing out of his stance and using his hands to gain leverage against the offensive lineman. He has good strength and he is hard for an offensive lineman to move off his spot. He also has a motor that never stops. He several times chased plays all over the field. Hummer is a good defensive tackle prospect who should be in line for a big Senior year.

worked inside the interior of CC’s defensive line, making said feat all the more impressive. 6’0-6’1, 240-pounds, Hummer’s tape conveys a prospect who can shade either tackle, or line up in B-gaps. Hummer sheds down blocks well, absorbing blows and shedding after initial contact. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hummer excel at any IDL alignment, especially at this level. Hummer’s tape also shows quality reps at left tackle. I prefer his game at IDL, even if he wasn’t sacking QBs. His sack numbers are just icing on the cake.
