A big reason why the Springers were able to get back into this game on multiple occasions was the play out of Maryland Commit Khristian Martin Khristian Martin 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Highland Springs | 2024 State VA . He showed why he was one of the most sought after quarterbacks in the DMV with his performance on Saturday, he is the real deal. On numerous occasion his squad was down multiple scores and they could of easily packed it in and went home. Martin and company have been a state power for many reasons and their resiliency was on full display in Charlottesville. Accounting for three passing and one rushing score the pro-style quarterback was a warrior until the final whistle. Facing perhaps the best secondary in the state this was his biggest challenge to date and despite the loss I would say he passed the test.
