Senior Keyon Somers Keyon Somers 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Virginia Academy | 2025 State VA is a fun player to watch in the secondary for Coach Woods defense. Somers has good size at corner and is not afraid to stick his nose into any ball carrier. When you watch his tape you can see the high football IQ he displays to go along with his 3.8 GPA. Somers has a division 3 offer from Defiance College and should be in line for more opportunities with many colleges making their rounds next month.

Keyon Somers Keyon Somers 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Virginia Academy | 2025 State VA recruitment is gaining steam and his play the first couple of weeks for Virginia Academy has certainly helped. Somers does a little bit of everything for the Patriots including taking snaps on offense and returning punts for touchdowns. What I think he will transition to in college best is at defensive back, he is a lockdown corner. Very physical and he plays the run well, Somers just obtained an offer from Minnesota North College.
