He’s one of the top 2027 defenders in the region and was added to the latest rankings update after a strong junior season where he made 64 tackles, seven TFLs and five sacks. The hard-hitting Calvary Day standout is now ranked as the No. 46 linebacker prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

A lean, versatile, and explosive linebacker who knows how to deliver a punishing hit, Baker has been one of the more productive defenders across Savannah so far this season and is in the middle of a possible “breakout” junior season. The speedy, sure-tackling linebacker is a promising pass-rusher who has lived in the backfield this season with his 20 tackles, five TFLs and five sacks. Three of those five sacks came in a monster win over Windsor Forest. Look for Baker to continue lighting up the stat sheet and see a new Prep Redzone ranking come his way this winter.
