Tarver is a guy who will get the bulk of the carries in a rush-heavy offense. He finished the game last week with a major performance. He finished the game with multiple touchdowns and nearly 200 yards on 20 carries. He has shown time and time again that he is an issue for opposing teams to try and stop. I look at him as a guy who will make a difference from top to bottom on the stat sheet, and if he gets it going in the championship game, then the opposing team will be in a world of hurt. Especially considering this Carver team threw the ball less than five times last week (according to MaxPreps).

One of the top overall backs in the Columbus area, Tarver was consistently productive all season long Aho brought his best every week. Leading Carver to a giant 2025 season, Tarver ran just over 1,000 yards through the first round of the playoffs with an impressive 17 total touchdowns. A scoring machine, Tarver hit the 100-yard mark in eight of his first 11 games, running for an impressive 11.2 yards per carry. He’s one of the more slept-on backs in West Georgia for the 2026 class but will see a new ranking come his way in the next update. Tarver is now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 38 RB prospect in Georgia for his class.

Another West Georgia back having a fantastic final season, Tarver has been one of the better running backs in the Columbus area this season, running for 596 yards on just 50 carries for an eye-opening 11.9 yards per rush. He’s also scored 10 touchdowns, rushing for two touchdowns in each of his five games to start the 2025 season. He’s shifty, explosive, and brings breakaway speed to the table every time he has the ball. He’s rushed for at least 100 yards in every game and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
