A dynamic West Georgia wide receiver on the rise in the 2028 class, Woodson is an electric runner who can make a major impact both at wide receiver and in the return game on special teams. The quick, twitchy wideout turned some heads as a sophomore last season, catching just 14 passes but making them all count for 335 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s one of the fastest 2028 receivers in the region who is already seeing some respectable Power Four offers come his way. With a giant junior season Woodson should see bigger and bigger offers come his way over time.

Woodson is a great ball player, and he showed that. The Tigers finished the game with fewer than 10 passes and only five completions. Four of them went to Woodson. He is a force, and honestly, a headache for any opposing team to try and stop, especially with the rushing attack that they have. This de-railed the Stephens County team in a 56-point blowout, and a lot of thanks is to be given to Woodson.

A West Georgia receiver to keep a close eye on moving forward, Woodson is a multi-sport standout who has put his strong hands, natural speed, and above-average athleticism on display to start the 2025 season. He only has eight catches, but he’s taken them 194 yards and three touchdowns. He’s quick off the line, can stretch the field, and shows natural big-play ability. He’s scored at least one touchdown in three of his first four games and scored two touchdowns on just two catches against Columbus. He’s a sleeper pass-catcher who will only get better and better over time.
