Marchand measures in at 6’4 185-pounds. This past season, he had 39 receptions for 734 yards with 12 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and speed. Very good release at the line of scrimmage, consistently beating the DB no matter in off-coverage or the press jam. Does a great job to create separation during his route. He’ll fight through contact, out run the receiver, or exploit a zone void. During the QB scramble drill, he comes back and makes himself an easy option. Very good catching and ball tracking. Very good body control and adjustment. He excels at contested catches. Strong hands to rip the ball out of the air. After the catch, he’ll use a stiff arm to gain extra yardage or use his speed to blaze past all levels of the defense. He’s a prime candidate for a thousand-yard season.
